Padovan – SILICAT Silica Gel Based Hygienic Cat Litter

SILICAT litter absorbs liquids in a few seconds, thus avoiding the dispersion of unpleasant odours. The water subsequently evaporates, whilst bacteria and unpleasant odours remain trapped within the litter granules. SILICAT is a non-powdery product which does not adhere to the cat’s paws or coat.

Thoroughly clean the tray and then spread out a layer of the product, approx. 3 cm thick. Remove solid wastes on a daily basis using a trowel; then gently remix the litter, adding fresh product if necessary. A 5 litre bag of SILICAT is able to absorb all the urine from a medium sized cat for around one month. A 16 litre bag of SILICAT is able to absorb all the urine from a medium sized cat for around three months. If there is more than one cat, it is advisable to increase the thickness of the litter to 4 cm, and the litter must be renewed more frequently (for 2 cats – every 15 days, for 3 cats – every 10 days). It is time to change the litter when liquid is observed in the bottom of the tray. Used litter may be disposed of as undifferentiated waste. Store in a dry place.
