Pharmacological properties and active substances of Hepavetin, natural cat and dog supplement:
- Carnitine Milk thistle extract contains a mixture of flavonoids, the most active of which is silibinin, which stimulates cell metabolism, activates the synthesis of proteins and phospholipids in hepatocytes. Silibinin inhibits the breakdown of cell membranes, preventing the loss of structural components of hepatocytes, prevents the entry of toxic elements into liver cells.
- MSM is a natural source of organic sulphur. Contains 34% sulphur, which bioavailability is 85%. Ensures the exchange of potassium – sodium ions in liver cells, on which the permeability of cell membranes depends.
- Vitamin C functions as an antioxidant, promotes the formation of leucocytes.
